Xeriscape

Well, this weekend's snow has shown how useful knitting can be, as me and my daughter have been out and about clad in hand-knitted gloves, mittens and hats! Thankfully I managed to block my Escargot hat at the start of the week so it kept my head lovely and warm!
And i've weighed the leftover yarn, and it looks like i'll have enough to do a brown hat with an orange trim.
I've had a busy week, but inbetween writing reports i've been knitting the Xeriscape scarf by Mary-Heather Cogar ...

This pattern is great for short bursts of knitting (when you should be doing something else), as you can knit a scallop at a time. The yarn i'm using is 'Rainbow Riot' by Made In Hackney, I love the colour changes, it adds to the fun!
I'm about halfway, so i'm hoping I can get it finished during the week!
